The existence of D2Freedom is in the process of changing to a new web site. Apoc has now passed on his gaunlet as moderator to Estraan. May apoc's name rein on through the halls of pain, and the ancients give him passage to the diablo 2 hall of fame! Another Diablo 2 patch means more fixes (maybe even more security)

The v1.11b patch seems to have created another way for battle.net to detect the newly released mousepad maphack. Hope to the cheating community's has arised that battle.net has not finally overcome the abilities of netter and mousepad.

"Blizzard fixed a couple of bugs in v1.11 and put the new v1.11b patch online yesterday. The readme.txt isn't exactly extensive, but here you go:
FIXES:
- Fixed a bug that could cause a crash when you return to chat after playing a game on Battle.net.
- Fixed a bug that could cause a crash when the runeword "Peace" was equipped on a hireling. Just connect to Battle.net through the game to DL the patch."

A new Diablo 2 bots for 1.11 shall rain items from the sky

Just added a new mmbot for v1.11. Hope everyone enjoys.

Is this the end of cheats as we know it for realm play?

Many of us who thought that maphack was going to be safe now realize that with the v1.11 patch the ability to hack has been ended, and the real game play must begin.

"Diablo II Accounts Closed
We have just closed more than 36,000 accounts for cheating on Battle.net. More than 28,000 CD keys tied to these accounts have been disabled from Realm play on Battle.net for one month, and more than 3,000 CD keys have been permanently disabled from Realm play due to repeat offenses. Please see the Battle.net FAQ for details on our anti-cheating procedure. As a reminder, the Battle.net news window that Diablo II players see after logging in has had a long-running warning against the use of hacks, clearly indicating that if we detect that cheating is taking place, the offending accounts may be closed without notice and the CD keys tied to these accounts may likewise be disabled without notice. Today’s account closures reflect our zero-tolerance policy against cheating, as well as our effort to prepare the Realms for the new ladder season. We appreciate the support of the thousands of legitimate Diablo II players in helping us keep Battle.net a secure and fun place to play Blizzard games."

And so Diablo 2 lod is reborn once again
Ladder has now officially ended and we realize that once again us ladder fanatics are now newbies item wise and must restart. But now with a new beginning comes a new challenge. Newbies shall rise again!

What we thought was dead, is now more alive then before
Out of no where a new Diablo 2 patch has arised out of no where. Released now the community has been recreated, and old souls have reappeared to take on the prime evils once again. v1.11 is the revolution for the Diablo world.

US East Ladder Diablo 2 value chart is in fashion
Hello everybody! Finally putting some changes to the site. There is a question on the forum about whether we should change the format of our forum or not. It is getting bigger and we would appreciate your input. Also, be sure to check out a new page on the site, Wolf's Value Chart. He worked hard on it and now you don't have to cruise the Google Group to find it. Also, we are thinking about taking down the Live Chat - anybody object?

Expect many a great thing from this web site in about a week or so. Getting some free time and will be devoting a bunch of it to getting this site in tip-top. Until then, enjoy.
